Nestled in the heart of Lawrenceville, a vibrant and sought-after neighborhood in Pittsburgh, our store on Butler Street has been a beacon of quality and style for generations. Recently, we've undergone a complete remodel, transforming our space into modern/trendy shoe store while maintaining the timeless charm our customers adore.
Wagner Shoes is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as the Future Store Manager. Under the guidance of our current management team, you'll embark on a journey of learning and growth in our fast paced retail environment, with the ultimate goal of taking the reins as the Store Manager within 3-4 months.
- Embrace the store culture and represent the Wagner Shoes brand at its highest level through professional selling & customer service.
- Greet customers and interact with them in order to clarify their needs.
- Listen carefully and provide footwear solutions to each customer.
- Close sales transactions efficiently and encourage repeat business.
- Actively strive to gain new customers.
- Work with a team in doing various day-to-day tasks of the store such as sales, maintaining store appearance, stock control, inventory, & much more.
- Uphold Wagner Shoes' longstanding reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
- Friendly, self-motivated, and a team player.
- Has experience & passion for running.
- Prior experience in an athletic retail setting is a plus.
- Knowledge in biomechanics, running, nutrition, etc.
- Good communication skills.
- Enjoys working with the public and providing customer care.
- Available to work as needed within a shared schedule.
- Previous experience in retail management is preferred but not required.
- A passion for footwear and fashion, with a keen eye for trends and styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a knack for inspiring and guiding others.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
